Newbies who focus on the Price action alone never make any money. Volume and Price analysis go hand in hand and is the most basic tool of Base Jumpers. The most basic tool, namely:

Price is UP; VOLUME is also UP = Bullish
Price is DOWN, but VOLUME is UP = Bearish
Price is UP; VOLUME is Down = turning Bearsih
Price is DOWN, and Volume is DOWN = Bullish within consolidation range
